Red Leather Sofa
Outrageous Sofas
Futbol Sofa
This sofa is 33 feet by 15 feet and it weighs over a ton. Apparently it “can prop up 70 pairs of buttocks”. How did they get on the cushions? Did that sofa come with a ladder so people could actually sit on it?
Sand Sofa
No dimensions were given about this sofa, but comparing it to the size of the people, you could probably assume it’s approximately 25 feet long, 10 feet deep, and the tops of the backrest reach around 10 feet high. That’s a lot of sand, and a lot of time arranging the sand like that. I wonder if they made the springs out of sand as well?
Lollipop Sofa
What makes this sofa so outrageous? Is it the crazy design with the lollipops everywhere, or the wide array of colors? No way. This sofa qualifies as outrageous because it costs $2,999.00. Is that too high for your budget? Don’t worry its on sale right now for only $1,499.00. Who won’t buy it for that price? It’s a steal.
Longest Sofa
The ex-longest sofa was a whopping 212 feet long. The current longest sofa is 2,920 feet long. That’s over half a mile long. If you ran from one end to the other end, it would take about 3 minutes. That’s outrageous. You can barely see the sofa in this picture, in fact all you can see is the color of the sofa. If you look closely at the picture you can barely see the sofa. It is the white thing on the bridge that stretches across the water. This took place in Norway.
Motorized Sofa
In the UK, some guy decided to attach a motor and wheels to a sofa. The sofa was cruising at 95 mph. Sorry, no pictures of this one.
Largest Inflatable Sofa
This sofa was made in April of 2009. It is 67 feet long, 26 feet tall, and 26 feet wide. That’s a total of 28,287 cubed feet. I think this sofa also gets the world record of being the largest green sofa ever made. I wonder if it doubles as a trampoline.
Animal Sofas
These sofas are whacky. One even has a tail. Rodolfo Rocchetti is the guy who decided to turn a tiger, a cow, and a panther into a sofa. I wonder if the artist/maker used any authentic materials. What does PETA think of these 3 sofas? Even if those aren’t made of any authentic animal parts, do those crazy sofas do an ethical disservice to animals? (Sarcasm doesn’t show well in text.)
That’s all the whacky, crazy, creepy, outrageous, [insert your verb here], sofas that we have for now. If you discover any sofas that you think qualify to be displayed to all the public, send us an email at contact @ redleathersofa.org. We’ll take a look at it and post it on here if it is outrageous as the ones shown above!
